Greetings all. I saw this YouTube video the other day at my friends house and I cant seem to find it again. Nevermind the actual video, it was what I saw that I thought was pretty neat. The iPad was clearly jailbroken and had what looked like a realtime weather wallpaper. It was pretty cool and I wanted to check it out. Do you know what this was?

You may not have been but I was perfectly able to make adult decisions about my life before I was 18years old.
At 18 the law recognised that I should be capable of behaving like an adult. It is the job of parents (and society) to make sure that there children are ready to be adults by 18years, which means they should've been preparing them for these sort of decisions for years. A parent shouldn't treat a son like a child until they're 18years and then from their 18th birthday treat them as an adult.

Then a couple of years later when I was maybe 16/17years old I walked in on them at around 11pm in the living room. Mum sat in the arm-chair with a leg over each arm and Dad kneeling going down on her.

Embarrassed? Yes, all of us. Disgusted? No, couldn�t see a reason to be. Ever sat in that chair again? No ***king way! Eww.
I am still thinking that I was found under a cabbage leaf here. :D
It is hard for me to imagine my parents having sex. Though I find comfort in that my parents sent i=us to relative in our pre-teen and teen years, so they might have had some "fun".

Coming from an Apple / Mac Fan and non iPhone or iPodTouch kind of Guy & Girl, I sure Hope Apple keeps Sharp on Macs... I was at my 1st and 5th Grader's Parent - Teacher Conference at Chautauqua Lake Central School on 11/18/10 and there were 3 or 4 Macs in each Home Room... I got to believe Steve knows that if they get the Kids Hooked on Apple that they'll be an Apple Buyer for iLife.... We are also ProSumer kind of FCP people and Love our Mac versus the Windows world... Get Your Kids Hooked on iKidsFishing and not on Drugs leads to an Apple a Day keeps the Doctor away... Get it...? I am all against this nostalgia gaming. U have so many great games available on the ipad or iphone that utilise their potencial, why would u wanr to play games that have 12 pixels running around? I think it has more to do with people remembering the "good old times" when they havent had all that depression, fear and insecurity going on.
I played Atari up through super nintendo. I stopped at that point partly due to the games appearing to play themselves. If you ask young people to go back and try to play Zelda or link from beginning to end, you often hear "its too hard". The point of the old games was to be challenging; not to be a movie disguised as a game.
I'll admit that recently when I played an older game I was disappointed but then I realized I was doing something wrong. I was hitting the continue button. The older games are better if you challenge yourself to score as high as possible on one credit or compete with a second person on one credit.
You know the new games would be more interesting if played like that too. These first person shooter games are ridiculous because you keep getting back up after dying. The thing is that it doesn't seem as boring to play like that because the scenery of the game keeps changing. But try having two people play as far as possible with one life or three if that is standard and go as far as possible on that. I bet it is a better game if you play with the rul that you start over when you die in the game.

Maybe where you live. I tried it in La Jolla, CA with Terk TV5 and I just was able to get couple channels and very choppy.Yeah I have to move my Terk TV5 antenna every time I change the channel. It's not easy. Very sensitive to antenna position A LOT.Sorry Multimedia. I even joined your yahoo group and I was very excite about the possibilities of the EyeTV500. I just turned out to be not the way you said.
It works maybe for you, but in some cases like mine require way more than what your are just saying.
I am just trying to make sure people are not going through the same hassle and disappointment I had.

Digital Broadcast TV is both a blessing and a curse. I wonder if it's a conspiracy by the cable operators to force subscriptions.

Exactly. People weren't going to sit around and wait, and not many were willing to switch to AT&T with how great Verizons coverage is, and how poor AT&T's is.

I prefer iOS to Android, but I have to say that the built-in maps of Android absolutely trounce Apple's offering in every way (and I'd further suggest they're better than any GPS app you can currently buy).

The great thing about doing something good, is that it is OK to do it for any reason that makes you happy (even credit on a MacRumors thread) because at the end of the day it benefits people.
If I was dying, I wouldn't care if someone gave me blood because their MacRumor buddies would like them more. They saved my life. Why is it so bad they did it for one reason or another?
If people would do more good things because of threads on MacRumors, how cool would that be?
